Frequently asked Questions

Do you offer training?

We are not a training facility. However, we do our best to reinforce the training you practice at home.  Pack members should know their name, come when called (most of the time), and know "leave it" and/or "no". All the rest will follow. A balanced dog needs very little training to be compliant.

Must dogs be neutered or spayed?

Dog pack members are required to be altered, appropriately vaccinated, house trained and treated for fleas and ticks.

What vaccinations are required?

The full standard battery including  Leptospirosis and Kennel cough. Please bring documentation to your Meet and Greet appointment.

Why do you require Flea and Tick control?

While the PNW is not known for flea out breaks like other states, however, they are still present.  It just takes one egg-laying female, one day to drop 80 eggs on your dog, my dog, my house and your house.  We both know there is never just one flea. Ticks come from wild animals and our open field is not sprayed for pests for the health and safety of everyone. Some dogs are severely allergic to flea bites. Proof of fleas treatment in the form of receipt or box is required. Thank you for complying and keeping everyone healthy.

If I am traveling may I use your services?

We are open range, and no kennels are used.  Our pack members come to regular day care to keep familiar with new and existing pack members. Those that do not live permanently in the Anacortes region are encouraged to consider other options for care since they cannot attend regularly.

What time can I drop off my Dog for boarding?

FiDoggo's Overnight boarders should arrive no later than 3pm to become oriented to the pack before bedtime. Boarding is a 24 hour cycle. Day care can be added to a stay should you not be able to pick up your dog at the end of the 24 hours. For example, If you drop your dog off at 9 am and are unable to pick up at 9 am the next day, a day care charge will apply.
